Neoprene Heat Shrink Tubing | Mil-Spec M23053/1 Shrinkable Tubing

Neoprene is a versatile option designed to withstand the elements. It is aviation fuel, solvent, water, and hydraulic fluid resistant, making aerospace cables a common application. Cable harness applications are also common as a result of its low temperature flexibility. Because it is flame retardant, thermally stable, and self-extinguishing within 15 seconds, it can also be used safely in high-temperature applications. This material is extremely abrasion resistant.

Polyolefin Heat Shrink Tubing | Mil-Spec M23053/5 Shrinkable Tubing

This is irradiated Polyolefin. It is available in a wide variety of sizes, lengths, and wall thicknesses and can be used for a range of applications, from general purpose to industrial. All are strong, highly flame retardant, and have low shrink temperatures. M23053/5 heat shrink tubing is also exceptionally resistant to water, fungus, and UV light. This is the most flexible form of heat shrink tubing.

It has a low shrink temperature which allows it to quickly shrink to half its size, forming a tight electrical insulation barrier in situations with fast recovery time requirements.
